　　Abstract:Combiningthethermodynamiccalculationwithindustrialproduction,thevariationofinclusionsin304austeniticstainlesssteeldeoxidizedbysiliconalloyduringLFrefiningandcontinuouscastingprocesswasinvestigated.TheresultsshowedthattheinclusionsformedinmoltensteelaremainlyCaO-Al2O3-SiO2compounds,andtheAlcontentdecreasegraduallywithSireduction.IntheprocessofLFrefiningandcontinuouscastingprocesswhentherefiningslagbasicitywascontrolledat1.5,theAl2O3contentinthecompoundsdecreasesgraduallytogetherwithCaOandSiO2contentsincreasing.Thecontentsofcompoundsinthefinalbilletare30%35%CaO,20%27%Al2O3and25%30%SiO2withotheroxidesrelativelyless.Thedeformabilityofthebilletisrelativelylow,andtheinclusionsinitareslightlyalkaline.
